Home Staging Company ISO Designer with Logistics Skills

We are a fast-growing home staging company in need of a dependable, friendly and creative thinker to assist with all aspects of the business. This person will function as our leaders right-hand man/woman! You must have a flexible schedule and be willing to go the extra mile. Most of the hours needed will be M-F 10-7 however we are growing so fast that there will be night and weekend hours. Flexibility and a desire to work and grow with our company are a must!

This position is integral to the operation of the company and were looking for someone who can comfortably work on almost every aspect of the business. You should have at least 10 years of work experience. Our ideal candidate is a well-balanced team player who is equally as comfortable taking initiative as taking direction. You must be a great multi-tasker flourish while meeting tight timelines. You must also be a highly motivated problem solver, and be able to enthusiastically approach challenges. Experience remaining calm in high-stress situations is essential.

The duties of this position will range from staging and customer service to administrative managerial duties. We dont want to sugar coat this part: this is often a very physical job and can include rushing up flights of steps for hours as were staging a house, so youll have to be good with that and like the idea of working out while you work. You definitely wont be sitting in front of a computer all day. You will have to be creative and love interior design. Our jobs are often in high-end homes and we are known for our modern and current design.

We stage mostly in the DC Metro area reliable transportation is a must. Our warehouse is located in Silver Spring, MD. When were working in the warehouse, its very casual, shorts and t-shirts are great. This position involves a lot of responsibility so great references are must.

The following duties are shared, but will be part of this position:
Setting up and breaking down home staging including making beds, great attention to detail, moving small furniture, folding towels, hanging pictures, cleaning glass and mirrors etc.
Training and managing employees at the warehouse and at the staging properties
Maintaining Google calendar, scheduling staging jobs
Scheduling our moving company with our business manager
Obtaining shipping labels and packing up merchandise to be returned
Creating proposals for new staging jobs
Running out and obtaining last-minute supplies or picture frames for a next-day staging
Communicating with clients, moving companies, shipping companies, employees and vendors in a clear and professional manner
Organizing and storing all new staging supplies as they come in to the warehouse
Keeping warehouse clean and organized
Building furniture at the warehouse and on-site at staging jobs
Working on marketing mailers to include folding, stuffing and mailing envelopes
Occasional runs to local banks for deposits
Ability to think ahead and plan for best use of time and location
Ability to follow directions, literally on your GPS follow directions and be in the right place at the right time
Checking email and responding in a timely manner to colleagues and clients
