The ever-growing and expanding Dubai can expect even more pomp and circumstance when Karl Lagerfeld--best known as the head designer of Chanel and a prolific photographer--sets his sites on Isla Moda.
Opportunities have been knocking for quite some time in the United Arab Emirates and Karl Lagerfeld has joined the masses, signing a deal with investment group Dubai Infinity Holdings to design 80 homes on Isla Moda. The homes, touted as the first dedicated fashion archipelago, will be set in the multi-million dollar The World development in Dubai.
Lagerfeld, who is known to merge fashion with other forms of art (architecture one of them) will also design fashion-themed villas, boutiques and luxury hospitality facilities.
