Independent Sales Representative:

Seeking talented, energetic and enthusiastic, Independent Sales Reps to deliver an outstanding retail experience to our customers. If you have desire, drive and a passion for great design, come grow with Casart coverings. We are an eCommerce business selling custom, removable, designer wallcoverings. All designs are professionally, hand-painted, decorative finishes that have been reproduced onto high-end, self-adhesive, vinyl canvases which are repositionable, removable and reusable -- slipcovers for your walls. Over 77 designs (200 varieties) can be customized to paint color choices and combined for limitless personalization.
We now have the exclusive Mary Douglas Drysdale Signature Color Collection and are introducing new designs each season.

Qualifications:
• Looking for someone who wants to get in early on a growing company and really help build its potential and gain partnership capabilities
• Previous experience and proven success in interior design sales or related fields is a plus
• Excellent and persuasive communication skills, organized, reliable and self motivated to do flexible time-oriented work and to submit weekly marketing reports
• Has good interpersonal skills
• Is organized and self motivated
• Has a competitive spirit
• Understands the customers' needs and helps them discover how our products meet those needs
• Possess knowledge of: Sales, Marketing, PR, research, writing, press releases, blog posts, social media, and ability to follow up phone calls and sales with creative thinking
• Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude

Job Responsibilities:
• Research best avenue for sales and implement these ideas, i.e., contacting interior designers, builders and potential showroom or paint/ wallcovering retail stores for product placement
• Working out the business arrangements
• If product is placed, following up and tracking those sales
• Following up on marketing department pitches
• Brainstorming best target markets
• Meeting with potential customers
• Interacting with customers and providing prompt and courteous customer service to all customers in person, via phone or written note
• Educating and engaging customers through product demonstrations
• Representing the Region where selected

Multiple positions can be filled immediately and regionally.

Compensation:
• Based on % commission of sales to start

Time Requirements: Full Time
- 40 + hours a week or more
- 4 - 6 + hrs a day or more, depending on a flexible schedule
- Opening immediately available
- Working environment is flexible, as we all work online with conference calling and occasional Skype chats
- possible business meetings with senior partner in Alexandria (Old Town), VA and Skype consultation with other partners.
